Tuscan Seasoning may not be as well know as Italian Seasoning, but it’s just as flavorful, if not more so.

It’s similar in taste, but with a hint of garlic, fennel and red bell peppers.

You can use it in any recipe that calls for Italian seasoning or add it to Italian or Tuscan-style recipes like Tuscan Chicken and Spaghetti Squash.

Why This Recipe Works

This is a very easy spice mixture to make. Its as simple as measuring out individual herbs and vegetables and mixing them together. If you want a finer mixture, you can use a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.

This is a very flavorful seasoning. It’s got a well-rounded blend of herbs with added flavor from fennel seeds and red pepper in every bite. You can use it on chicken, turkey, salmon, shrimp, or vegetables. Basically, it will give incredible flavor to any dish you want to have a Tuscan flare.

As with all homemade spice mixtures, you have full control over how it tastes. Adjust the amount of individual herbs, add other types that arent in it, or omit an herb or spice you may not care for.
